Pet Pantry Warehouse will proudly carry on the Dog Days tradition in New Canaan this summer.  On June 14, from 1-4pm, Pet Pantry Warehouse will host the pet adoption event and free dog-themed fun.

Located at 21 Grove Street in New Canaan, Connecticut. The family owned business, specializing in quality pet food and products.

Pet Pantry Executive Vice President, Adam Jacobson, explained “Pet Pantry is a community driven family business and we’ve been hosting local events for many years at our other locations.” Pet Pantry created a Halloween event in Greenwich called Howl and Prowl©, that has become a staple town event every October for the last 8 years and the Pet Pantry will host the first New Canaan Howl and Prowl© this year. Jacobson went on to state “these events bring our communities together and we’re honored to have the opportunity to continue the annual Dog Days of Summer event in New Canaan. I really encourage all to join because we’re taking this year’s event to the next level.”

New activities and contests have been designed to allow attendees to fundraise during Dog Days and prizes will be awarded to the winning participants. A DJ, petting zoo, pony rides and kids’ activity tent will also entertain the crowd at this year’s event along with games and pet care advice from the experts.

Last October Village Critter became part of the Pet Pantry family and the local pet supply company will host this popular event. More than a dozen pet food brands along with the New Canaan Veterinary Hospital are sponsoring the free event.
